Creative Beginnings is committed to providing the highest quality child care and early education, and to ensure that parents and families are valued and respected. We value parental suggestions and thoughts and encourage parents and families to share new ideas and concerns. We look forward to getting to know every family enrolled and to offering every child the best high quality program in an environment that is safe, clean, healthy, caring, nurturing and child friendly.

Communication

Creative Beginnings has a long tradition of establishing a good rapport with parents through many forms of communication. Parents and staff share information on a daily basis through direct conversation, occasional phone calls, fliers on the parent information board, messages and photos on Brightwheel, as well as text and email. Family conferences are routinely scheduled in May and November for all children enrolled, and additional conferences can be arranged according to the needs of the families and staff. Moreover, daily oral reports are shared with families at drop-off and pickup times.

Brightwheel helps us partner with parents in their child’s early learning journey. It is a communication tool designed to help parents feel connected and informed while their child is away. Through the Brightwheel app, parents will receive real-time updates, photos, and videos, as well as what meals their children ate, when they napped, played, and learned! Brightwheel allows parents and teachers to send secure messages directly to one another and allows families to list approved pickups and emergency contacts.
